Rachel Jones is an Australian speculative fiction author writing emotionally driven science fiction with strong elements of horror and apocalyptic storytelling.

Her work focuses on grief, human morality, and survival, often set against the vastness of space or worlds on the brink of collapse.

Her debut novel, Under a Fractured Sky, is the first in The Broken Worlds Sequence, a duology about survival, grief, and what remains when the universe begins to fall apart, and a standalone novella Dead Horizon forthcoming.

Outside of writing, Rachel balances full-time work and motherhood, drawing inspiration from the people she loves.
